Girlyboi does not equal Sissy.

Something that does annoy me quite a bit is the assumption that people who are fluid when it comes to gender (well from the male being more female side, this doesn’t really apply to FTMs) are all weak ‘Sissys’. Granted there are some Transvestites out there who dress as part of a submission fetish. They want to be forced to dress as a girl and therefore be ‘humiliated’ by the loss of their perceived masculine strengths. I used to encounter these a lot when I used Alt, they would ask for advice on how to dress. I’d then get complained at because it wasn’t humiliating. Unfortunately this seems to be the type that gets reported in the media most often. How many times do the Tabloids report with complete and utter disgust about someone who does not conform to the ‘rules’ of gender? Take as an example, an Army Officer is undergoing SRS. It’s a story that crops up every so often and every time the papers place a negative spin on it, with the subtext of ‘Look at this freak!’

What people seem to forget is that there are feminine strengths as well! It’s not a bad thing to be in touch with femininity. Not everyone is macho and some embrace their female side as it helps with creativity. Not every man in a dress is doing it for sexual kicks. I may dress differently from the average man, so what. I wear makeup, is that a problem? At least I have the guts to not follow the herd.

Here ends the rant!
